The community partners participating in the 55th Anniversary of the Hike-In:
Seattle Parks Foundation is our fiscal agent as part of our partnership with them through Fix the Burke-Gilman.
Cascade Bicycle Club one of the organizations supporting the original hike-in. They are recruiting volunteers, supplying equipment and leading Free Group Rides to the event.
The Mountaineers the organizations that lead the hikes to the original hike-in. They are leading a hike to Matthews Beach and having a table as part of the mini-hike in.
Seattle Streets Alliance including its neighborhood groups Northeast Safe Streets, Northwest Greenways, and Lake City Streets Alliance. They will have a table at the event and are leading rides from their neighborhoods to the event. To find out about their rides contact the neighborhood group closest to you.
Seattle 350 will have a table at the event.
King County Play Equity Coalition will have a table at the event and is hosting one of the mini hike-in activities for children of all ages.
Fix The Burke-Gilman is the host of the event. We will have tables for information, jersey sales, and signing our petition.
